Born in Mexico City, Rafael's father saw his talent for music at an early age and started him off on piano at age 5...by the time he was 9, Rafael was playing guitar, bass and drums. After High School he studied music at La Escuela Superior de Composicion y Arreglo and from a private teacher from the University of Music in Mexico City. Since arriving in the United States, Rafael's exciting style and notable chops have have earned him the reputation of being one of the "hottest" young guitar-slingers around!
